For our Zurich office we are currently looking to hire in the following positions:
Junior Sales Manager
You will support the Business Development Team in sales activities (cold calls, client proposals, meeting preparation, and follow-up process), sales assignments for individual markets, elaborate projects (statistics, gather data, RFPs, peer group analysis, etc.) and prepare presentations and investment proposals. You are responsible for reporting, various administrative and ad hoc tasks.
We are looking for a team player with strong analytical skills, a sound technical background and a pro-active as well as hands-on mentality. You are familiar with research tools, have excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills and are proficient in German as well as in English. Quality orientation, a structured and organized work style and a high degree of motivation, flexibility and commitment characterize you.
You have a Bachelor or Master in Finance or similar (university or Fachhochschule), and have relevant working experience in the financial industry (e.g. (fund of) hedge funds, asset management).
.Net Developer
You will be responsible for developing strategic and tactical applications (VB.NET, C#.NET and MS SQL) to cover the needs of all departments and to integrate them into our corporate software platform. Your responsibilities will encompass the software implementation, testing and enterprise application maintenance. You will be sitting among our other developers providing applications for all business needs and will report to our Head of IT.
You are an output driven team player holding a degree in Mathematics/Economy with financial background. A proven track record of VB.NET, C#.NET is required for this position. Expertise in SQL and relational database design (preferably Microsoft SQL server) as well as object oriented development is essential. Any exposure to investment banking, asset management, fund of hedge funds or risk management is a plus.
You have excellent English skills and communications skills that are above average. You like to work under pressure, are committed to meet deadlines and are able to operate on different projects simultaneously.
Junior Risk Manager
As a member of the Portfolio Risk Team your main tasks will be risk management reporting and monitoring. You are responsible for the regular risk control reports and statistics, guidelines monitoring, and you produce internal and client facing risk management reports. You help in the improvement, specification and development of risk management tools, methods and applications, do data monitoring and participate in Research, IC and Due Diligence meetings.
We are looking for a team player with strong analytical skills, a sound technical background and a pro-active as well as hands-on mentality. You are a Graduate, have a Bachelor or Master in Finance or similar (university or Fachhochschule), and have some relevant working experience in the financial industry (e.g. (fund of) hedge funds, asset management, pension funds, etc). Hedge Fund experience is an asset.
Additionally, you like to work with numbers, are accurate, diligent and very motivated to be part of a great team. Your English as well as Excel skills are excellent.
Fixed Income Analyst
You possess a substantial fixed income background as well as knowledge of interest rates, credit, mortgages and asset backed securities. You should have a minimum of 3 years of market experience through researching, trading, or structuring fixed income securities and will need to demonstrate strong organizational and quantitative skills and the ability to communicate themes and investment ideas effectively to colleagues and investors. Your responsibilities will include hedge fund selection, due diligence, risk management and client interaction.
Postgraduate education (a Masters or MBA) is a plus. Fluency in English is a must.
